HYBRID TOUR: Maximize Conditioning & Fat Loss
What is Interval Training? Interval Training, or "HIIT" is a form of exercise performed in brief, intense bouts of maximum effort followed by active or passive recovery. HIIT trains and conditions both your anaerobic and aerobic energy systems simultaneously making it an extremely time efficient and effective form of exercise. HIIT increases the amount of calories you burn during workouts due to the ability to repeatedly reach a maximum level of effort. Intermixing these max efforts with brief recovery bouts, allow participants to work harder in less time then a standard, steady state workout.
At Hybrid Fitness, we're huge proponents of HIIT for many reasons and provide you with a variety of interval training protocols and periodized interval programs to boost your conditioning and fast track your fat loss. Best of all, you don't necessarily need to join a gym or use treadmill if you don't want to. Various HIIT programs can be done by simply utilizing what you have at your disposal...including bodyweight! Our flagship interval program "Taku's Intervals" is a very effective, widely used program. It was originally designed for high level athletes, but the results and feedback were so good, it was quickly adopted by individuals and groups of all backgrounds and fitness levels. Best of all, you can view the program in it's entirety by looking in the Free Workout section of this site. |
